Lia Kunzler, MD is a psychiatrist with extensive experience in cognitive therapy. For 10 years she has been applying the "Avocados technique" - think healthy and feel the difference. Several patients have benefited from it, and constantly asked for a tool that would help them to practice the technique and to share with their family and friends.
Kunzler is formed in Cognitive Therapy by Beck Institute and Master in Health Psychology at the University of Brasilia (UnB). Currently, Dr. Lia Kunzler is a PhD student at the Faculty of Health Sciences at UnB.
Kunzler works as a psychiatrist of the Medical Board Officer and as a cognitive therapist in the Board of Health and Quality of Life at Work of UnB. She leads cognitive therapy groups in Mental Health Clinic. Her technique has been published in several articles, books and presented at conferences and seminars.
